The city population in St. Louis, Mo at the end of 2008 was 340,256 people while in Springfield it was 151,859 people. Also the murder statistics in St. Louis, Mo were 73 while the murder statistics in Springfield, Mo were 6 in 2008 according to CityRating.com.
